Our first day of the Hindu pilgrimage tour in Nepal starts upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will welcome you by greeting you and transfer you to the hotel. Our first day of the Hindu pilgrimage tour in Nepal starts with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is very near to your hotel in Thamel at a walking distance of 10 minutes. Full of temples and holy Hindu shrines, gods, and goddesses. The Kathmandu Durbar Squares is also known as The Hanuman Dhoka which is named after the god Hanuman. The main highlights of this place are the huge statue of Kal Bhairav sculptured from a single stone, Shiva Parvati Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Akash Bhairav Temple & Hanuman Dhoka statue. Free evening, explore the Thamel area (the main tourist hub in Kathmandu) on yours. Join the welcome dinner in an authentic typical Nepali restaurant and enjoy the local taste of Nepali foods, discussion about the tour program. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of the Hindu pilgrimage sites in Nepal by visiting the prime Hindu religious destinations in Kathmandu.

Pashupatinath Temple is a religious & biggest Hindu temple of Lord Shiva, also the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu. It is located just 3 km far from Kathmandu in the west on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Pashupatinath temple is one of the seven monuments listed as UNESCO world heritage sites. Hindu devotees from India and Nepal are expected to visit the Pashupatinath temple in a huge number during the major Hindu festival "Mahashivaratri" which falls during the last week of the month of February.

Swayambhunath Temple is popularly known as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Regarded as one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world it is located high on the hill giving an aerial view of Kathmandu valley, however, the complex is an important site for Buddhists of many schools, and is also revered by Hindus. Swaymbhunath is a Hindu name that means self-created & is also a Hindu pilgrimage site with a very important concept in the Hindu religion. The term Swayambhu is used for Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.

Dakshinkali Temple located 22 km outside the Kathmandu valley, is one of the major Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to the goddess Kali. Dakshin Kali Temple has also the same religious value as Pashupatinath Temple and Manakamana Temple in Nepal. The temple has more tourist attractions as it is a popular hiking destination located near Pharping village in Nepal. Mother Dakshinakali is the most popular form of Kali. She is the benevolent mother, who protects her devotees and children from mishaps and misfortunes.

The third day of our Nepal Hindu pilgrimage tour starts with the early morning visit to the Suryabinayak temple. Suryavinayak Temple is a Hindu temple in Nepal located in the Bhaktapur district dedicated to the Hindu god Ganesh. The place is holy, lies in the middle of the forest, and is said to be that all of our sorrows and pains would wash away once we visit the Suryabinayak temple. There is a strong belief stating that this temple blesses voiceless children with an oration made devotees reach over there.

After visiting Suryabinayak we will next visit Doleshwor Mahadev temple which is a temple of Lord Shiva very near to Suryabinayak. The Doleshwor Mahadev temple is believed to be the head part of the Kedarnath temple located in Uttarakhand, India. After this, we will leave the Bhaktapur district & proceed on our journey toward Pokhara in our Hindu pilgrimage tour itinerary.

En route to Pokhara, we will visit the Manakamana temple that lies in the Gorkha district, Kurintar. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati with a belief in the temple that grants the wishes of its devotees. To reach Manakamana temple premises we need to take a 5 minutes cable car ride.  Upon arrival at Pokhara overnight stay at the hotel.

Pokhara is regarded as the heaven of Nepal as it is full of natural beauty - beautiful lakes, mesmerizing mountains, temples, and natural waterfalls. One must visit Pokhara whenever you are on a Nepal trip. On our second day in Pokhara during our Nepal Hindu pilgrimage tour, we will explore the major attractions in Pokhara. Temples in Pokhara are either in the middle of the lakes or deep in the caves or high on the hills.

Our first visit to Pokhara will be to the Tal Barahi temple during our Hindu religious tour in Nepal.  The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga & is located in the middle of the Fewa Lake at an altitude of 800m above sea level. Secondly, we will visit Gupteshwor Mahadev temple which is deep inside the mysterious cave named after the temple called Gupteshwor Mahadev cave. The other major Hindu pilgrimage sites in Pokhara are Bindabasini temple, Akaladevi temple, Kedareshor Mahadev temple, Bhimsen Temple, Bhadrakali Temple, & World Peace Pagoda. We will end our Nepal Hindu pilgrimage tour in Pokhara by enjoying boating in Fewa lake & exploring the locals, foods, and lifestyles of people around the lakeside in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Pokhara to Jomsom flight, drive to Muktinath Temple -back to Jomsom

Today is the day for the Muktinath pilgrimage tour in Nepal. Early morning transfer to the airport and take a 15 mins flight to Jomsom. Arrive and hike for a half-hour to catch the jeep. Walk along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River where you will find beautiful 'Saligrams' which hold religious significance to Hindus. Take a drive to Muktinath by local sharing jeep. After arrival to Ranipauwa, we will hike for 15 mins and more 15 mins ascending to the temple, reaching Muktinath temple we will perform our pooja, worship. Visit Muktinath Temple and, health permitting, take a holy dip at one of the famous 108 water springs of Muktinath.

We reach our destination of Muktinath temple during our Hindu pilgrimage tour in Nepal. Drive back to Jomsom following the same route. Overnight at Jomsom.

Day 6: Fly Jomsom to Pokhara, Pokhara to Lumbini Drive

You will take the flight back to Pokhara after completing our Muktinath pilgrimage tour. You can join for some popular adventurous activities like Paragliding, Bungee Jump, Zip flying, or Mountain flight in Pokhara. Then drive to Lumbini (196km), transfer to the hotel, and be refreshed. Spend the day in Lumbini taking a peaceful stroll around the monasteries and stupas in the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit Mayadevi Temple where the Buddha was born under a Bodhi tree, which is also regarded as a Hindu Pilgrimage site in Nepal.

Ashoka Pillar, Buddhist monasteries, Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha’s mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath, & the remains of Kapilvastu palace and the Lumbini Crane Sanctuary are the other sights we will visit while in Lumbini. Today after breakfast our tour starts with a drive to Shashwatdham. Shashwat Dham is a newly built Hindu Pilgrimage site in Nepal 2017. This religious site of Nepal consists of a temple of Lord Shiva also known as Ekambareshwor. It is modeled in the Khajurao-style of architecture. The temple is surrounded by ponds filled with water from various holy shrines from the Indian subcontinent such as Badrinath, Kedarnath, Muktinath, and Pashupatinath.

After a visit to Shashwat Dham, we will continue our drive to Chitwan. In the evening, at Chitwan National Park you can enjoy the Tharu cultural dance show. You can also join the jungle activities like Elephant back safari, jeep safari, canoe ride, or jungle walk. On your own cost. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Drive from Chitwan to Dev Ghat & to Janakpur Dham

We begin our day with a scenic 56 km drive towards Dev Ghat. Dev Ghat is one of the prominent Hindu pilgrimage sites in Nepal. A famous religious and cultural center in central Nepal, home to various temples and caves dedicated to Hindu gods, goddesses, and saints including Goddess Sita's cave. After visiting Dev Ghat we will proceed with our drive 250 km to Janakpur.

Upon reaching Janakpur Dham (the birthplace of Sita) we will check in to the Hotel, free evening and relax. Overnight at Janakpur.

Early morning we will visit Janaki temple, Ram Laxman temple, Bibah mandap, and various temples dedicated to Ram, Sita, and Hanuman. After finishing our pilgrimage tour in Janakpur Dham we will then proceed toward Kathmandu.

It will take around 5 hours and is around 225 km from Janakpur to reach Kathmandu. Upon arrival to Kathmandu it will be your free evening. You can hangout around with your friend, go for a movie. In the nearest theater or can enjoy the last minute shopping in the main tourist hub of Nepal, Thamel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, Chandragiri Hills Cable Car Tour and Buddhanilkantha Temple Tour

After taking the breakfast at the hotel, we will then start our tour to Chandragiri Hills. After arriving at the cable car station, we will purchase the Chandragiri cable car tickets for you. Wait for your turn to board the cable car, it takes about 10 to 12 minutes to reach the hilltop of Chandragiri.

As you look out your cart, you will see the beautiful scenery of the valleys below. The one-way route covers a total distance of 2.5 km. Enjoy the beautiful scenarios, and the lush green wilderness view from the cable car until you reach the Chandragiri Hilltop.

Upon reaching the Chandragiri Hills resort at an altitude of 2540 m you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Kathmandu valley and picturesque view of mountain ranges from there above, take your pictures and enjoy the day at Chandragiri hills. Visit Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple.

The Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple is a sacred Hindu site located in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it holds immense religious significance and draws devotees seeking blessings and spiritual solace. The temple's ancient architecture, adorned with intricate carvings, showcases Nepal's rich cultural heritage. Situated amidst serene surroundings, it offers a tranquil space for prayer and meditation. Pilgrims and tourists alike are captivated by its aura, making it a cherished destination for cultural exploration and devotion.

After finishing our tour to Chandragiri Hills, we will proceed towards Buddhanilkantha temple. Buddhanilkantha Temple also known as Narayanthan temple is a Hindu open-air temple dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu. Budhanilkantha Temple is situated below the Shivapuri Hill at the northern end of the Kathmandu valley and can be identified by a large reclining statue of Lord Mahavishnu. The temple's main statue of Budhanilkantha is considered the largest stone carving in Nepal.

Final departure towards your onward destination. Today is the last day in Nepal after completing our 10 days Nepal Hindu Pilgrimage tour. At your request, we can even arrange an optional tour while your stay in Nepal before the final departure.

Breakfast & check out from the hotel. Our Three Sixty Travels representative will be there in the hotel lobby for your farewell. Transfer to the Airport for final departure on your flight schedule 3 hrs before your flight.
